Since 2019, climate activism has been the main subject of my photography. Beginning with the first major Extinction Rebellion occupation of Westminster in October 2019, I've often been on the front line to capture developments in the ever-changing and ever-controversial climate movement in Britain. It's a campaign that has seen many changes and is perpetually charged with political and social tensions. The emergence of 'Just Stop Oil' in 2022 took the non-violent direct action tactics of Extinction Rebellion to new extremes, breaking both social boundaries and the law in new and highly provocative ways.
